Summer Horsemanship and Equine Activities
Integrated Camp for people with and without special needs
June 26-30, 1 pm - 4 pm
July 3 & July 5-7, 1 pm - 4 pm
July 8, 9 am - 12 pm
August 7-11, 9 am - 12 pm
August 14-18, 9 am - 12 pm
S.H.E.A. 5–day experience is $400 per participant.
LATE FEES: Registration for camp weeks 1 and 2 after June 5, 2017 is $450 per participant.
Registration for camp weeks 3 and 4 after July 17, 2017 is $450 per participant.
All fees are due at the time of registration.
» Minimum age 5 years-old. Campers must be able to participate in group activities.
» Campers will participate in riding, horsemanship, and other equinerelated activities.
» A personal care attendant must attend those campers who require assistance.
» The Shea Center will not dispense or administer medications.
» Campers participating in mounted activities must be within the weight limit as stated in The Shea Center's weight limit policy. Campers over the weight limit may participate in unmounted activities.
» Campers should bring a cooler with a snack and water bottle each day.
» After registration, all campers who are not current Shea Center riders will receive additional paperwork to be completed.
» Campers with disabilities must turn in a physician’s release form.
» All forms must be completed and returned by the first day of camp or campers will not be allowed to participate.
» Camps occur Monday through Friday. For afternoon camps, participants may be dropped off no earlier than 12:50 pm and picked up no later than 4:10 pm. For morning camps, participants may be dropped off no earlier than 8:50 am and picked up no later than 12:10 pm. A fee of $5 per 10 minutes past pick-up time will be billed for any camper not picked up on time.
» A cell phone number must be provided if the parent/caregiver leaves Shea Center property during camp hours.
» Classes are limited to 20 participants and divided into groups of approximately 7 campers. Campers will be placed into groups according to their age and ability.
» Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A Shea Center phone call or email to the parent/caregiver will confirm registration.
» We expect the camps to fill up quickly and strongly encourage early registration.
