Introduction & Length of Service
Christine King has been a treasured volunteer at The Shea Center since 2023. Over her 311+ volunteer hours, she has served our clients, herd, and staff with graciousness, compassion, and a genuine passion for our mission.

Roles & Responsibilities
Since joining Shea, Christine has gone above and beyond in every role she takes on. She serves as both a horse leader and sidewalker, assists with barn chores, handles tack, and helps ensure our horses receive exceptional care. She also supports our annual BBQ as part of the concierge team and is a proud sponsor of Remi, one of our beloved therapy horses. Her warmth, reliability, and generous spirit make her an extraordinary member of the Shea community.

Impact & Value
Christine is often a quiet force—she steps in immediately wherever help is needed and requires little direction. Her consistency, willingness, and strong work ethic make her an indispensable part of The Shea Center family. We are truly grateful for all the ways she strengthens our programs and our community.
