Give

Your generosity helps us thrive! By donating, you’re not just keeping the lights on and our horses fed—you’re providing essential support for riders in need, funding specialized equipment, and helping maintain our programs. Your gift also offers potential tax benefits, and most importantly, the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a real difference in the lives of others.

Thank you for your invaluable support!

Other Ways to Give

Our herd requires dedicated care to thrive. The horse sponsorship program funds their annual care, covering feed, shavings, horseshoes, veterinary care, tack, stall management, and related expenses like utilities and facility maintenance.

We offer three horse sponsorship recognition levels.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) offers a unique approach to mental health therapy. Clients engage with horses in non-mounted activities designed to promote emotional regulation and personal growth. Guided by a licensed mental health professional, clients work with horses to improve clinically based goals.

During the session, the horse acts as a biofeedback machine; its responses to the client help clients better understand their emotional and behavioral patterns.  This real-time feedback can foster self-awareness, help manage stress, and strengthen social skills.

Gifts to the Capital Fund are vital donations that support the maintenance and enhancement of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. These investments foster growth, efficiency, and accessibility, ensuring our spaces are safe and welcoming while strengthening our capacity to fulfill our mission.

Gifts to the Client Financial Aid Fund help ensure that equine assisted services at The Shea Center remain accessible to individuals and families who may need financial support. These donations help offset the cost of participation for clients, removing financial barriers and allowing more people to experience the physical, emotional, and developmental benefits of our programs. Through this support, donors help expand access to life-changing services for those who need them most
