Tonya Almeida has been a valued member of The Shea Center volunteer team since 2020. She has generously contributed more than 372 volunteer hours, supporting our clients, horses, and staff with kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Her dependable presence, quiet leadership, and genuine care for others have made a lasting impact on our program.
Roles & Responsibilities
Since joining Shea, Tonya has been a familiar and welcoming presence on Saturday mornings. Serving as both a horse leader and sidewalker, she helps create a safe, supportive environment for our clients while ensuring the well-being of our therapy horses.
