At this time of year, we are usually in “gala mode” as we prepare to gather with over 400 of our Shea Center supporters for a night of celebration, inspired philanthropy and honoring one of our Shea leaders. It’s a joyful time to dress up, raise money, party and connect. And yet, this year, we are unable to join together at Montage Laguna Beach for our traditional gala fundraising experience due to COVID-19.
In spite of the cancellation, we invite you to still celebrate and shine—united together in shared memories and “best-of” fun!
This Saturday on June 13, 2020, the intended date of our annual gala, we will be posting a video montage of past gala moments on our social media channels and asking our followers, “How do you gala?”
Please join, support and celebrate each other by doing any or all of the following:
1. Post/share your favorite picture(s) from a past Shea gala or any Shea event on social media using @SheaCenter #SheaGala #StandWithShea
2. Engage (like, comment, share/repost) with recent Shea Center social media posts to help boost our social engagement
3. Make a donation to support Stand With Shea (we are so close to reaching our gala net revenue goal! Want to make it happen on Saturday?) SheaCenter.org/donate
