Vic has been a farrier (horseshoer) at The Shea Center for 14 years and does specialty shoeing for some of our horses. By frequently consulting with The Shea Center’s vet, Dr. Markell, Vic has been able to meet the needs of our horses that have hoof-related issues. Vic generously offers his services to the Center at a discounted rate. He also has taught continuing education classes on the complexities of shoeing to our volunteers and staff.

During the summer, Vic eagerly explains his procedures to our horse camp kids and willingly donates his leftover horseshoes for horse camp art projects. Not only is Vic an excellent farrier, he is also a trained pilot and drummer!
The Shea Center is thankful for everything Vic has done and continues to do for our horses.
