Originally from Chicago, Robin King’s family moved to the Bay Area and she attended high school in Menlo Park.

After studying communications at San Diego State University, Robin was recruited by Major Market Television (MMT) to begin her career in the broadcast field. She spent subsequent years in marketing, sales and advertising at Katz Radio Group, Capital Cities, ABC, Disney, and the Business Journals.

In her work, Robin is passionate about curating and cultivating relationships organically. Robin comments, “I enjoy people and the process of building authentic and genuine relationships. I have been very lucky to have such an amazing network of people who have supported me throughout my career. I believe that relationships should be something that are treasured, respected and protected.”

We are fortunate that in 2019 Robin came to The Shea Center as the Corporate Relations Director. She remarks, “I love that every day I come to work, I get to see how we are making a difference in the lives of those we serve. The Shea Center is a very special place!”

When Robin is not at The Shea Center, she enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
