Jane Ramadan is our Special Events and Annual Campaign Manager. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in psychology from Cal State University Fullerton.

Jane has been in the special events and fundraising field for 30 years and says, “I love planning events, and I’m passionate about raising money for our programs and those in need. I love the Shea Center development team with which I work! They are dedicated to helping others and a pleasure to work with.”

Jane’s job description covers a wide range of responsibilities. As special events manager, Jane is responsible for all logistical planning, vendor management, and event vision and timelines. She helps manage event committees, secures sponsors, and stewards special event donors. Additionally, she develops and maintains all event budgets and expenses.

As annual campaign manager, Jane oversees three annual direct mail campaigns for our entire database. She also works with the development team to help cultivate participants in the Drive to Ride campaign, horse sponsorship, and horse funding.

In her position, Jane enjoys working with professional, flexible, and personable people. She receives compliments on her organizational skills, work ethic, and calm demeanor.

Jane’s hobbies include dancing, hiking, swimming, reading, and traveling. Additionally, she is a certified life coach, grief counselor, and yoga instructor. Jane says one of her proudest accomplishments is raising her son and daughter to be compassionate adults.
