You are invited to attend The Shea Center’s 46th Annual BBQ and Family Faire, presented by The Klein Family, on September 21, 2024, from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. Voted “Best Annual Event” 8x by The Capistrano Dispatch People’s Choice Horseshoe Awards, this family-friendly event supports our mission and helps provide financial aid for our clients.   • Dress code: Casual, western attire is encouraged. Once the sun goes down, it will be cool in the evening; layers are advised. Please note that closed-toed shoes are required for barn tours.

This event covers approximately 20% of our annual operating budget. The funds from this event help cover financial aid for our clients and the general funds needed to continue operating and serving them.

Guests will be invited to donate to Fosheim Fund a Need.

  • Fosheim Fund a Need (established in 2007) helps fund client financial aid, horse care, and priority programs such as our military programs.
  • The fund is named for Penny and Jon Fosheim and their 35+ year commitment to our mission.

    ~ Children (3-13, under 3 is free): $40
