Lizzy has been a client at The Shea Center since 2013, when she was 16 years old. Now, almost a decade later she is still riding every week.

Today, Lizzy rides Oakley once a week in her Adaptive Riding lesson with Ellie, a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) through PATH International.

Ellie says, “Lizzy cares so deeply for every horse she has worked with and makes sure they are cared for not only when they are under saddle, but also when it is time to dismount. She spends time meticulously grooming them and making sure they know they are loved!”
