Adaptive riding clients Hannah S. and Tanette T. are best friends and roommates. As with most notable duos, it’s their differences, as much as their similarities, which make them a great team. One is a steadfast rule-follower. The other takes a more laidback approach, viewing rules as “suggestions”.
Hannah began riding at The Shea Center in 2007, and while she enjoys the time she spends on her horse, Hope, she loves the social interaction with her leader, Dixie Sparks; sidewalker Jaye Amster; and her favorite staff member, Assistant Facilities Manager Dan Edwards.
Tanette started riding this year, and while she looks forward to spending time with her leader, Shari Crane, she loves to learn new riding skills on her horse, Dolly. Trotting is a favorite, as well as steering off-lead and trail rides.
We appreciate and celebrate these two good buddies who brighten our collective Thursdays – thank you, Hannah and Tanette!
