Dane Bullock is a kind man who experienced a mild stroke about three years ago. Being at Shea with the horses is his favorite activity, especially during COVID-19.

Dane and therapy program horse, Champ, grow their relationship when Dane rides and interacts with him weekly.  Dane sits and grooms, pets, and feeds him carrots, and then Champ gives Dane back the bucket for more.

Dane and speech therapist, Terri, have taught Champ how to play tug with a stretchy tube, and now Champ gets excited when he sees Dane come into the barn!
