Were you aware that a staggering 90% of our clients rely on financial aid? And let’s talk about horse care – the costs have skyrocketed over the past two years! These are just a few of the reasons why we come together every February to raise crucial funds to provide financial aid for our clients, maintain top-notch horse care, and ensure our priority programs keep soaring.
Here’s what to know:
Throughout the entire month of February, our clients, volunteers, supporters, and staff have the opportunity to tell their stories about what The Shea Center means to them and then share with friends and family to help us reach our goal of $340,000!
Sharing your story is a breeze. You can visit SheaCenter.org/drive today to set up your profile, craft your story, and begin your personal fundraiser. The earlier you share your story, the greater your chances of winning some amazing prizes:
- Submit your story before February 1st, and you’ll snag an exclusive pair of Drive to Ride socks!
- Raise $700 or more with your story and get one Drive to Ride hoodie.
- The top three fundraisers (clients and volunteers) will each receive Amazon gift cards: 1st = $500, 2nd = $300, 3rd = $200.
- The client and volunteer stories with the highest number of donors will each win a $200 Amazon gift card!
To kickstart our 2024 Drive to Ride campaign, if you visit The Shea Center from February 6-10 you can:
- Get information on how to craft your own Shea story.
- Learn about the different donation opportunities that change lives.
- Snap a pic with a life size cut out of Baxter, one of our program horses, and share with your community.
- Visit the Drive to Ride Trading Post and read other heartfelt stories.
Your participation is more than a gesture; it’s the core of what we do. Every story shared and every contribution toward this year’s Drive to Ride campaign strengthens the foundation of The Shea Center and gets us one step closer to creating lasting change.
