Continuing education plays an important role in The Shea Center staff training. Weekly lessons in horse handling and riding skills keep our herd fit and healthy. Riding also increases the understanding of each horse, which helps our staff maximize therapy treatments and riding lessons for our clients.

In-person presentations and webinars focused on disability, education provides staff members with in-depth information on various disabilities. On-site presentations, post-COVID, include Prader Willi Syndrome in September 2021 and The Epilepsy Support Network of Orange County Seizure Recognition and First Aid Training last month.
