Greig Ellis has been a respected and committed volunteer at The Shea Center since 2022. With over 1,113 volunteer hours, Greig has supported our clients, herd, and staff with kindness, compassion, and passion for our mission.

Roles & Responsibilities

Since joining Shea as a volunteer, Greig has provided extraordinary support to our clients, staff, and herd. He contributes across a wide range of essential roles, serving as a horse leader and sidewalker, assisting with special projects, helping with events and helping to ensure that our clients and herd are well cared for.

Impact & Value

Greig is always ready to step in and help wherever needed. When new volunteers arrive, he takes the initiative to welcome them, helping them get acclimated to Shea and walking them through what volunteering looks like—from the moment they arrive at their first lesson. He is reliable, consistent, and always willing to lend a hand, making him an invaluable member of The Shea Center family.
