Volunteers of the Year

Aug 5, 2021 | Volunteers

Brent Turner

The Shea’s Center volunteer of the year is Brent Turner.  As one of the most dedicated volunteers on The Shea Center team, he has logged over 2,200 hours since beginning volunteering in 2016.

Brent’s unfailing commitment has him at The Shea Center every Friday afternoon.  Brent can be counted on as the go-to person for any task.  Whether asked to lead, sidewalk, or clean manure out of the arenas, he does it without hesitation. Brent’s interaction with the clients makes him a great sidewalker, and all his lessons a lot of fun.  His calm and confident demeanor makes him a great leader for any horse in the herd.

Congratulations, Brent!  Thank you for your devotion to our mission.

Reagan Wagner

Youth volunteer of the year Reagan Wagner has been a major asset to The Shea Center since she began volunteering in 2018.  Her eagerness to learn has helped her grow her horsemanship skills and become an outstanding horse leader.

Reagan volunteers her time all day every Saturday and has accumulated almost 600 hours of service.  Her cheerful personality leaves a lasting impression with every client, volunteer, and staff member she encounters.

Thank you, Reagan, for your hard work, commitment and dedication to those we serve.
