Shea Summer Horse Camp 2024

Preparations are in full swing for our upcoming Summer Horse Camp!

Our staff and horses are gearing up for a summer of exciting horse-related activities in our beautiful equine setting. Summer Horse Camp is an integrated, five-day experience for kids with and without disabilities, led by our adaptive riding instructors who work with kids every day.

Campers participate in a daily riding lesson and learn vaulting basics on one of our Gypsy Vanner horses. Beyond riding, campers delve into horsemanship skills such as grooming, leading, and learning the proper care of horses. And there are plenty of fun crafts all week, too!

Week-long camps and Shea Camp Experiences (1 day) both run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration for camps begins in mid-March. Check SheaCenter.org/camp and social media for registration dates and details.
